What about the University of Denver? They are supposed to be joining the WAC next year. They are growing stronger in basketball and would be a decent regional fit with NMSU.

NMSU and Denver would give the Valley 3 out of 4 time zones. Maybe we could get Gonzaga and St. Mary's and have all 4 represented.

SDSU and BSU wil end up back in MWC after they don't get the money promised by BEAST. This will mean 12 football teams but only 11 all sports for MWC (Hawaii). Given the Geography of the MWC, Denver would make the perfect mountain range addition for the MWC's non football need.

NMSU will be joining the Sunbelt shortly.

West: SDSU, FSU, SJSU, UNLV, Nevada, BSU

East: USU, UNM, AFA, CSU, UW, Denver
