2012 – Won at Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind. 75-65. David Kyles and Toure Murry scored 16 points apiece and Wichita State defeated Indiana State 75-65 on Sunday night. Ben Smith scored 10 points and Garrett Stutz had eight points and 11 rebounds for the Shockers (15-3. 6-1), who kept pace with No. 23 Creighton for the lead in the Missouri Valley Conference. Wichita State is 5-0 on the road this season.
2011 – Won at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa 68-54. Aaron Ellis scored 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Wichita State past Drake 68-54 on Saturday night. The Shockers (16-3, 6-1 Missouri Valley) led 32-27 at halftime after shooting 53.8 percent from the field in the first half. The Bulldogs (7-11, 2-5) began the second half with a 7-3 run to cut the lead to 35-34, but the Shockers answered by scoring 10 straight points to put the game out of reach. Demetric Williams, who went 3 for 3 from long distance, finished with 11 points for Wichita State and David Kyles added 10 points. J.T. Durley pulled down 10 rebounds for the Shockers.
2007 - Beat Creighton Wichita 62-59. Kyle Wilson scored a career-high 25 points Monday night, including two clutch free throws with seven seconds to play, as Wichita State beat Creighton 62-59. The Shockers (12-6, 3-4 Missouri Valley Conference) have won consecutive games for the first time since starting the season 9-0 and rising as high as No. 8 in the polls. But Wichita State couldn't shake the Bluejays, who trailed 57-56 after Anthony Tolliver's dunk with 2:44 to play. Wichita State built the lead to 60-56 on free throws, but Couisnard fouled Nate Funk on a 3-point shot with 20 seconds to play. He made just one free throw, then hit a jumper with 11 seconds remaining to pull the Blue Jays to within one. With the Shockers clinging to a 60-59 lead, Wilson made both ends of a one-and-one, then Wichita State's P.J. Couisnard blocked Funk's 3-point try at the buzzer.
