I agree that we should not get ahead of ourselves and that we need to allow this team to achieve before we make outrageous claims regarding this recruiting class. I was not living in Wichita in the decade of the 1990's. I do remember that the coach bragged on his recruiting class and said that these players were going to be great players. But I don't remember KC Hunt being a Top 100 high school recruit, nor was Rick Conn a Top 10 JC recruit. If I'm wrong, please correct me. If I'm not wrong, these comparisons are apples to oranges. I must say that I'm kind of excited about some of the recruits that are coming in next year. Let's not go totally overboard the other way either.

You do know that Gregg Marshall is still the coach at WSU? Sure its impossible to predict how successful any one player will be. But we have plenty of evidence that shows Marshall and his staff know what a good ball player looks like.

I think five years is enough evidence to show us that Gregg Marshall is not Scott Thompson or Randy Smithson.

It's the offseason and we're all entitled consult our magic eight balls for predictions about the future. It sounds like some are worried by what they see. Are you worried? Cause I'm not worried.

But comparing this year's class to a team of NBA talent makes sense? These guys are much more likely to be Conns than Carrs.

We also have ample evidence that he doesn't. Chamberlain, Manigault, Anacreon, Richardson, Hamilton, Orupke. Did he get lucky with Toure, Stutz and Ragland or unlucky with these guys? I'm not saying this recruiting class can't play. I am saying that expecting anything but a step down from a team of 3-5 new starters is folly.

Dude. I don't know what soured your puss, but come on. Posters were just marveling at the giant swing Marshall took and how he hit a home run. They were also wondering when WSU had a class if players this highly touted. Last I checked, nobody was comparing these guys to the finished product those that 80's classes produced, just the hype they received. That is it. If you can't handle that, you should probably do some soul searching.

Okay, now you are straight up trolling. Marshall only kicked one of those players off the team, one of those players is on the team and was backup to Stutz since he got here, the others where higher than typical bench warmer fodder, and so they could get more playing time elsewhere, so they left.
