I don't remember exactly how he said it, but I know he mentioned something that immediately had me thinking about the Carl Hall situation. I wish I could remember what his exact words were that brought up that thought.

He said there could possibly still be attrition from the current roster

It is my opinion that neither Hawkins or Uwadiae will show up. That's just my opinion.

I hate to parse his words too much because Coach may not have meant exactly what he said, but I re-listened to his statement on attrition and he said he "hoped no more attrition", then he continued that "there may be on incoming guys." I don't know if he meant that there could be more attrition on remaining players but he didn't say that. I think that I'm accurate now.

I hope that Hawkins still has an opportunity to make it because he is such an athletic, stretch (inside/outside/transition) PF type of player that he will be dynamic in the future when he matures.

I'm not sure which one I fear is less likely to arrive. By all accounts, Uwadiae is a good student but has bounced around. Hawkins struggles but has been able to focus on it at one place. I'd hope both make it but I won't be shocked if neither does.

i guessing the transcripts issue was referring to Henry...which makes it more likely he might not show.

There was that little pause between "attrition" and " could be on incoming players" but I took it to mean the issues were with incoming players and not returning players. He then mentioned might not make grades which to me is the ? surrounding Teddy Hawkins (which is nothing new and still unresolved AFAIK) and then he mentioned the transcript issues for foreign students which would seem pretty clearly to involve Henry Uwadiae.

Prior to those comments he said it was possible that would bring in at least one more which implied that it might be more than one.

Bottom line is that next year's roster is still somewhat unsettled. I hope this get's resolved by the end of the Spring signing period on May 16th.

I wish the same on getting it settled by the end of the signing period. It didn't work out well when we had to go into the summer last year.

Easier said than done when it comes to Hawkins and Uwadiae. Only way we're certain with Hawkins is if it's bad news
