Fred Vanvleet destroyed Jabari Parker in the public vote for Mr. Basketball Illinois. Even though he beat Jabari by 300,000 votes it would be Parker that would take the award in the final voting.

Sorry - maybe I misunderstood;
Is he an applicant for AD or a member of the next recruiting class?
Don't know if I have heard an 18 year old with such perspective and seemingly the "right" answer to every question (from the radio interview link above).
Very impressive.
But, his style is even more impressive if you have watched any of his video - I listened to a couple of the Illinois playoff games he was in and he always did whatever it took to win - even if it meant taking over the scoring in the last few minutes to assure the win.

Can't wait for him to get here.
