Reminder that Newman is projected to finish last in the D2 league, MIAA.

“Let this be a reminder to you all that this organization will not tolerate failure.”

Porter looks good… Okafor and Rojas solid.

Bad defense effort and sloppy all around.

      40-32 Shox at halftime

Just an exhibition but the officiating crew is real questionable

I like the effort to pick and roll with Ballard in the 2nd half.

Wonder if Pohto is ill. He looked bad and hasn’t seen the court in the 2nd half. Ballard looking pretty good.

                      It has been comically bad

Granted it's an overmatched and undersized opponent but Ballard has been a difference maker on both sides of the floor this second half

Some things that stood out to me:

Craig Porter went for 13/5/4 and sounded as good as ever.

Shammah Scott had 5 assists (likely could have had a couple more) and sounded really solid running the point behind Craig Porter. Unselfish player but has the ability to score when needed.

Quincy Ballard had 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks in 10 minutes. Start the hype train?

Rojas, Okafor, and Abbide make me hopeful that the PF position won't be the black hole it was last season. All three can score in a variety of ways and seem to get after it on the glass.
