This is the best Shocker team ever assembled since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. If even half the players currently signed to play for the Shockers reach their apparent potential... this team will be beyond what even C0|db|00ded can hype.

Why does it seem like our roster is twice the size allowed by the NCAA? In the past we would be lucky to get one or two of the players on our wishlist. It appears to me like we got just about all we could have ever hoped for this year. What a perfect ointment for the sore that is still festering from round one of the NCAA tournament.

Gregg Marshall is earning EVERY cent of his paycheck (and then some).

Durley? We lost Paul Miller too. Sky is falling.

If you're including Hall/Durley at 6'8" as being some of the "big men," White is the same height, as is Early. Hawkins is coming out of HS at 6'7". So next season we'll have two guys, possibly three or four depending on continued growth, as big or bigger than Hall coming in. Plus White as a sophomore.

If you're looking for 7'ers, then yes, we "lost" Stutz this season, we'll "lose" Orupke next season, and then we'll have Uwadie (who eventually we'll "lose" as well). All three of those players are bigger than all but two players in the entire Mo Valley (both freshmen). Having seven footers isn't required, although certainly nice.

We're going to have a very large team for the next few years from where I'm sitting, with or without a 7' center starting. I don't think height is going to be an issue.

I am sailing in uncharted waters. It used to be that the players I wanted to watch got all of the playing time. We are getting to the point where several players that I want to watch get very little playing time.

I can still remember the days when we only had two or three players on the roster that I had any interest in watching. It's taken a while and a great coaching staff, but now we've got 13 that will likely entertain and contribute if given the opportunity. Amazing.

The Wichita State coaching staff is one of THE most well respected in the country. That has been well documented. 26 wins- rack it up.. it's a done deal.
