No, Bill Self, you can't have Nick Wiggins, either. Back off my recruits.

I think the Fake Gregg Marshall is the real Gregg Marshall. But by being "Fake" it allows him to really show his sense of humour without getting into trouble.... That's what I'm going to tell myself anyway. Makes it fun.

Is it just me or does it seem that MT just about lost any recruiting battle with BCS schools often having to settle for plan B or C players, especially during his last two recruiting classes. Now it seems like every recruit GM lands had a list of good BCS offers that were ultimately declined. Not to mention we're regularly landing JUCO AA's which seldom occured in the past. Perhaps one of our recruiting experts could validate this sentiment.

              Yes, Mark Turdgeon was/is a BCS *****.

Our height will show when we have 6-7 wings shooting against 6-3 or 6-4 wings. Dont discount that!

I can still remember the days when we only had two or three players on the roster that I had any interest in watching. It's taken a while and a great coaching staff, but now we've got 13 that will likely entertain and contribute if given the opportunity. Amazing.
I remember watching the players i wanted to watch, play, then immediately wish i didnt have to watch them play... But that was a few coaches ago thank goodness.

Marshall goes after guys that one of our previous coaches wouldn't approach because they didn't think they stood a chance "at our level". It appears that Marshall is a good salesman and he has a lot to offer recruits. Charter air travel to most away games, an excellent education, top class strength and conditioning program and 10,000+ rabid fans at most home games. Okay I'm stretching the "rabid" part a bit with our blue hairs, but better than half empty gyms at many of the BCS schools.

It's especially nice that Marshall can do his own recruiting instead of relying on the baseball staff to funnel players to the basketball team.

Not only is Marshall recruiting and signing trop-150 players, the roster appears to be 12 or 13 deep with seviceable players lately. I'm accustomed to seeing 4 guys (or so) on WSU rosters who weren't really D1 basketball players.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

To whom are you referring? Reggie or Rick?

How about any player taller than 6'5" recruited by Turgeon (not named Wilson or Miller).
