East Carolina, who looked like world beaters against us, are just awful at home losing to 0-4 South Florida. SMH at how bad this league is right now.

Is this criticizing 3G for initially recruiting TP or insinuating that 3G would have considered taking him back in another coaching role?

The West Virginia message board sounds like this board…and the Washington board….and the South Carolina board:

Out of a timeout, Erik Stevenson attempted an ill-advised 3-pointer that was well off the mark. Hill got the rebound and added two more free throws with 15 seconds left for a 74-70 OU advantage.

“That was a forced shot,” Huggins said. “We didn’t need a forced shot. The deal was if you don’t have a good shot, penetrate and pitch it.”

West Virginia falls to 0-5 in Big 12 play.

A couple of a days ago WVU released it's Associate Head Coach, Larry Harrison. Harrison has spent the last 16 seasons on the Mountaineer basketball staff, including the last 13 as associate head coach. He was in his 24th season overall on Huggins’ coaching staff after spending eight seasons with him at Cincinnati.

I wonder what that was all about. Huggy's statement:

“A decision has been changed within our basketball staff was a difficult one," Huggins said. "Larry and I have worked together for 24 years, and shared many great moments. The decision was made in the best interest of Mountaineer basketball. I’m not going to take any questions on the matter, and will now move along to your questions about the upcoming Oklahoma game.”

The commentator was hilarious, and I quote:

”“That is a horrendous decision by Erik Stevenson. Erik Stevenson, that’s a disaster.”

I did see the last 5 minutes. Deja vu all over again.

What kept Ricky out of the starting lineup was his tendency to fall asleep on defense, which kept Dexter among the top 5. Etienne's high usage then limited his scoring opportunities. It was a just an unfortunate situation. With those two gone Ricky would have certainly been the star player here this year.

Ricky would still be coming off the bench had he stayed.

Arkansas had the game in hand until they forgot how to play defense during the second half.

Vanderbilt went on a 29-9 terror over just 9 minutes, as Arkansas lost by 13.

    Ricky, nevertheless, scored 24 points with a line of 8/12, 3-6/ 5/7.
