3G's current contract I believe was renewed for 7 or 8 years with an annual automatic 1 year extension so he pretty much is at Wichita State for as long as he wants to already. He can also buy his way out of the contract at any time for relatively piddling $325,000. So he really has the best of both worlds right now.
If it comes down to purely a matter of dollar bills it will be very diffiucult to keep Coach Marshall. In fact, he probably would have left last year. Fortunately, it appears that there are many other factors that influence Coach Marshall other than just the greenbacks.
On thing we need to make sure we do is to keep our facilities and our support programs as up to date and as strong as possible.

You were just scratched off my A.D. search list. Nobody here is a bigger HC3GM fan than I am, but for crying out loud we already have Gene Stephenson with a life-time contract and ... ah you already know how that's turning out.

News reports here saying CSU coach Tim Miles is taking the Nebraska job for $1.5M a year. If the alsoran Nebraska basketball program is going to pay a coach who had a losing record at his prior program $1.5M a year, I hope ADES is working his big donors to get HCGM a freaking pay raise."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM
