Another good one from the past was Bernard Jackson, who was really good his freshman year. Not sure why he transferred. James Gibbs was solid (maybe all we needed), but not nearly the athlete Jackson was.

Obviously a little homesick, BJ transferred back to Chi-town and played his last 2 years (after sitting out) at Loyola Chicago where he starred averaging around 20 a game for those 2 seasons.

6th round pick by Portland in the 87 draft, I don't believe he was ever active in the NBA.

However, after basketball, he wound up in LA and I would say it's safe to assume he's done well climbing the corporate ladder.

He started off driving a bus and is, today, the Senior Executive Officer for Rail Operations for Los Angeles Metro.

Current salary $213,691.63/year. Well done Mr. Jackson! Love seeing student athletes succeed in life.

I know LA is large, but do you really need 100 (likely many, many more) employees making $150K+ in the transit department?

That is nothing my friend. LA city government is so corrupt. It is astounding the salaries and pensions of some of the city staff up there. Not saying Mr. Jackson doesn't deserve it.

I made my comment in a kind of hyperbole sort of sarcastic tone, assuming I was cherry picking the worst of the worst.

100%. I tell people all the time that San Diego and LA could not be further from each other in terms of lifestyle despite only being a couple hour drive away. SD is really laid back and the people are friendly for the most part and very family oriented. SD has more of a Hawaii meets midwest vibe and LA is just a garbage dump with rude and self absorbed a-holes.

Chaunce Jenkins continues to do everything for ODU (50% FG 40%3 2nd leading scorer)

Mo continues to be a stud for New Mexico averaging 16 and 8, 0-0 from 3 and shooting 59% FG.
