The bottom line is, even if he would’ve stayed on can you imagine the shock collar and short leash FHCGM would have been on? The first time he looked at someone wrong or hurt their feelings, he would be subject to being canned for cause. However risky as it would be to his bank account to do that, it goes to show you how much he loved it here if he was willing to take a gamble to try.

A year from now, If things look as bad as they do now regarding the basketball program then he probably has to make a move to find a new AD. Would not like Boatright to be involved in the selection of a new basketball coach in a couple of years..

Starting to think Muma's mistake was one of omission, not comission. Thinking in his newness he mostly let Boatright handle the already ongoing investigation and didn't get involved as would have taken to change the trajectory of the outcome. Can your sources confirm?
