Craig Porter with a very nice stat line: 15 points on 6-9 shooting, 3-4 from the line plus 10 rebounds for a double-double and 4 assists to no turnovers, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 34 minutes of play.

It seems like the Shockers tend to go depending on how well Ricky goes (or how bad Ricky goes). 16 of Ricky's 20 points came in the 2nd half.

At this level, does it matter? We need guys that get Double Doubles against Memphis and Houston.

The future of this team is CP at pont guard, TE at shooting guard, RC4 at the small forward, and some new athletic players with size and shooting ability at the power forward and center. Time for DD and MU to graduate and move on. It is not an accident that this team made it comeback with them sitting on the bench. We only have 1 more game left theis season.


PS we can aways count on TE to miss free throws when we need them.

What an “odd” comment. MU goes up for a bunny in weak fashion and blows it (again). Fact. We all know that we’re not the “best basketball program”. But, we should expect the best effort and good basketball IQ. After all, one learns during a season and gets stronger….at least the good programs do.

Can’t believe I am saying this, but Joe had 2 key rebounds (1 offense, 1 missed FT). The offense rebound lead to 2 Ricky points at a key time. Good job on the rebounds.

Now his shooting…thats a different story.
