Even if you don't get tickets through the university, they will be a dime a dozen in Portland. This isn't going to be a high demand location....not going to come close to selling out. Scalpers will be unloading tickets for $20 each, or less.

Yeah, I was told that when I went to the Cotton Bowl... 100K seat stadium, lots of tickets available. Wrong! Scalpers still selling them over list price after the game had started. Glad I got my Shox tickets in hand, even if I payed $81/game for them.

Plan on going to Atlanta so you will see the Shockers in a regional.

This isn't the Cotton Bowl! LOL

I was at our regional in Greensboro in '06, tickets were a dime a dozen. You could leave at half time to visit the beer tent, then buy a $5 ticket to re-enter.

Tickets on Portland Craigslist as low as 54 dollars that I've seen.

The Rose Garden seats 21,000+...our sessions consist of WSU vs VCU and Indiana vs New Mexico State. Which fanbase is going to be bringing 20,000 fans?

On your off day, I recommend Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam which are less than an hour east of Portland. The falls are quite a sight to behold with something like a 900 foot drop. If you dig hydro power or how they move fish through a dam, Bonneville is a nice visit. Both free as I recall.
