I would be shocked (no pun intended) if you won by 10+. Nobody has beaten them by 10+ since November and they have the 9th youngest team in the country. You guys can win, I just don't see a blowout in the cards.

I applaud your coaches and players for garnering a 5 seed in the NCAA's and please accept my apology for the poor sportsmanship that was brought to your board in the form of unfounded rumors. That was totally uncalled for. Moving on.

I'm really looking forward to getting to watch this rematch as I was only able to follow ESPNMobile for the last game...and was freaking out because nothing was updating.

We are bringing a full plate of what we call HAVOC to the table this year in what really is the epitome of a neutral court considering it requires plane tickets for any of our fans located within the home city. I fully expect a fast paced game with lots of energy.

Some fun facts about the VCU / UNI BB game courtesy of Mr. Sullentrop:

- UNI averaged 65.2 Ppg for the season, and scored 68 against VCU.
- UNI made 43.2% of their shots on the season, and made 55.6% against VCU.
- UNI shot 39.2% from three on the season, and 52.9% from three against VCU.

To surmise, a mediocre offensive team (UNI) was able to score above average against VCU. The kicker is that VCU forced UNI in to 19 turnovers. That is what can lose this game for the Shox. If VCU is able to force WSU out of its comfort zone with their press and force turnovers, the Shox could be in trouble. Now, given the senior experience and leadership, particularly at the 1-3 positions, I think we will be fine with the press. We have faced tough in your face pressing teams this season and been fine. Also, with the fact that we have several guys who can knock down shots, keying on one person will not effect the Shockers.

Agreed. That is why I am fairly confident with this matchup. They play a unique style, but it's not something we haven't seen. Plus, I like WSU's chances with Marshall and the fact that we lost to them in a crucial game last year. I guarantee you that loss is still stuck in the minds of Gregg and the team.

I know that sounds crazy, but after watching UNI job Kansas a few years ago, anything is possible...gotta dream big or go down in flames. As far as the shockers are concerned, much respect and good luck to you. As far as where youre coach stays or goes, regardless where any team in the Valley stands we are all a stepping stone, but it pains me to say this, you guys are a hell of a team this year, and from the outside looking in we would love to be in youre position. Now if the coach does leave there is a Director of B Ball at Kansas that is avalable.....
