Something tells me, Fifi, the guys in Vegas determining the odds don’t much look at the “brand”.

Not related to the Cincy game...just read the tickets for Sunday's game are 5 bucks.

It's sad day they have to essentially give away tickets for a top 15 opponent.

          Fifi? Zing?!?!

Im sure it doesn’t. So I’m sure you’re will to place an enormous wager on that no-so generous line on the Shocks?

          Later, crickets.
          Deuces Valley.
          ... No really, deuces.

We used to make fun of Valley schools for doing this.

It's a sad day when they can't give away tickets to face a nationally ranked opponent.

This is a fan base that used to sell out for a game against Newman, or a midnight game against New Mexico State. Those were the days.

Covid, ticket prices, and the games being on TV don't help but those aren't the main reasons. You could have had the black plague in 2015 and we would have sold the place out for a top 15 opponent.

I am pleased to see that at least they are trying to get butts in the seats.

I mentioned on another thread that 10-4 (league play) UNC played last night in a barely half filled Dean Dome. BARELY half filled (the upper decks were very empty).

We're not the only ones struggling to get butts in seats. And that is NOT a pass. Do better, work harder.

I hope they have the same "open to new ideas" thinking for baseball. I promise you were I in charge you'd see a variety of fan friendly promotions to get folks into the stadium and they'd get the king's treatment on the way in and out.

I'm pretty much fed up with a lack of appreciation of ShockerNation support. It's been taken for granted for a very long time, and it needs to change. And ShockerNation needs to do their part as well, but they need to be cultivated as well.

So, do you have yours? This is about your price range now I imagine since you relinquished financial support a few years ago because the SASO was pricing out the little guy. I think you said it was because you had family man priorities!

That’s a good thing plus the university still has your enormous vocal support!

I believe the two major factors impacting in person attendance are Covid and the ease of watching games from the comfort of your own home while saving time, money and eliminating the hassles of getting to and from games and the parking at games. I think that both of these factors are magnified by having a fan base that is getting a bit long in the tooth. I can personally attest to that.

Now that more and more folks have become accustomed to watching the team from home convincing them that it's a value proposition to come back to the games in person will not be that easy IMHO.

I agree, but winning games 80-70 would help

Sure, if you wanna come over and watch the 2 and 1 year olds for a few?

Taking the fanbase for granted, the Marshall handling, and the current product being put on the floor plus knowing it’s not gonna change for several years are the main reasons, imo.

Oklahoma State’s new baseball stadium has a designated area beyond the outfield fence for just fraternities and sororities for tailgating/picnic area…providing a fun/party atmosphere location just for them.

I would imagine that hell would freeze over before Muma/Boat would allow for that.

They did away with the area that was essentially that when they redid the hill.
