Hate to sound negative after a win but I smell a 3 game slide coming up.

Dex was effective. He is such an asset to this team when he can hit wide open 3s.

I thought Ricky, Dex and Craig carried the Shockers in this win. The only negative was 5 turnovers by Craig.

Gregory, who the ESPN announcers were crowing about be such a wonderful guy, with the blow by handshake with HCIB.

Jenkins got his minutes over the other player who plays that role. Qua Grant, this game didn’t get many minutes. He should be pleased. His minutes had to be at least 15.

Unreal how we can make one of the worst shooting team in D1, shoot like the Globetrotters.

Take the W, though. May not be many if them remaining.

Jenkins had 10 minutes. Grant had 3. Jenkins definitely has more upside than Grant IMO. But he is still a bit wild and gets out of control.

MU is terrible. He gives this team nothing. He can't rebound, he can't guard, turns the ball over, and now is bricking free throws. It is too bad we lost that center during the summer. I 5hink he was suppose to be our rim protectors and force in the paint. If we had him then Coach Brown could sit MU down more. We are going to get killed by Memphis.

I don't blame KP. He has skills and plays smart. He just not physical enough. But he will be in the future. I really like him. He needs help. I hope we are going to recruit some rim protectors.

DD and RC4 should share POG. KP again in the lineup when the
team makes it's move. Didn't score but plays solid D by constantly
sliding to the ball side lanes and clogging them up while guarding
the opposing center at the same time. I didn't think Monzy did much
to deserve more minutes. Jenkins did okay. Udeze with FOUR assists?
TE had a couple unselfish good ones also but didn't play very good D
tonight. I'll take the W but doubt we get another until the last game of
the regular season.

DD was hustling all over the floor and menacing on D. RC made some big needed shots. One of the ones from way out in the side I was thinking no as it swished as I yelled yes. It reminded when Mike Jones swished 2 in a row from downtown I screamed no/yesssss defeating KU at the Battle of New Orleans.

One positive thing I will say is DD shooting 4-7 from 3. That has been sorely missed.

This. Jenkins is always looking for the home run play. It worked once, but he was also out of position several times going for steals he wasnt going to get.
