I'm done with this forum and will move over to the baseball forum unless if becomes polluted as well. Good luck to team two and I hope it works well for you to let the hate fester in your collective minds. Don't delude yourselves by announcing to one and all that all of the negative posts only shows how much you all really care for the program. Bye Bye

I'm pretty sure Monzy missed back to back box outs that led to offensive rebounds and baskets for USF. I love the guy, but he has flaws in his game that coach's hate (unnecessary fouls, sloppy turnovers, missed box outs).

These are the types of fans that are happy with CBI level programs. That’s what will kill this program.

          Bye bye.

          ... No really, deuces.

            He wasn't the only one.

No, but his mistakes per 40 are probably pretty high. Again, I like Monzy and hope he can improve, but I understand why he doesn't play more.

I will say, Monzy can be a very effective creator at times, and he definitely has some passing skills

if he is our full time 4, we are small again
JP and Monzy are both 6'7". Who do you think can jump higher and run faster? DD also plays minutes at the 4 and he's 6'5". Pohto can definitely play the 4, but spends most of his time backing up Mo. Perhaps seeing JP more at the 5 (or just less minutes) would help.

                • Monzy needs to work on being a team player (i.e. attitude). Sitting on the bench doesn't seem to be working either. He looks like he's going the other way, as in, out the door (see below).

Hi body language is almost as bad as Turgeon's was when he was on the sidelines.

Where's that pic of Monzy jumping high out of his seat on RCIV's slam at the end of the previous game while others (Pohto included) were still in their seats?

Council, listed at 6’6” is the tallest of the 3 and should be playing the 4. I feel like I say this after every game. Not just because of his height. He can rebound and stretch the floor.

He played more minutes in that game than he did last night, so of course he was 'all in'.

Lack of playing time as an attitude adjustment ain't workin'... It's having the opposite effect. Dude gives HCIB a hard time. Isn't it noticeable?

Perhaps another side effect of the transfer portal and the ease which players can just bug out and move on.

But in JP's height they are including 3.5 inches of led in the bottom of his shoes. Makes him taller but tough to get off the ground.

Absolutely, and the exact reason you give future potential greats more pt. KP, RC, CP, TE and DD should be the focus for the rest of the year. Swing DD or RC down to the 4 depending on the opponents defense. Monzy CJ and MU could get some good minutes, maybe 15-20/ game in order to spell the first 5. QG and MU maybe 5-10 per game. The rest are for absolute necessities or mop up.

I'd have no problem with Ricky seeing time at the 4, but I'm not sure what other 2 you are talking about? Got my height numbers off of the roster page.
