Why in the hell would you be listening to a KU radio broadcast?

Looking for something to listen to during the fall, it only takes a short period of time when KU is 0-5, and losing a football game, 48-0, and the guy doesn’t have a negative thing to say.

Been there. Literally though, NOBODY is worse than Bob Davis. NOBODY.

I really liked Cindy Klose, the anchor, until I discovered her Twitter feed. Good Lord, that soured me quick. To say she is over the top is a bit of an understatement.

Just took a look and I’m not super surprised. Most in the media probably share the same views, they just can’t be as open about it.

Bob seems really nice but doesn’t really offer a lot of in-depth analysis imo. That one guy who filled-in did a great job.

I am sorry but I can’t leave that alone. I like Mike Kennedy. He’s a great Shocker. I’m sure a good guy. I’m glad he is a homer. He’s supposed to be. BUT, a technically good play by play guy he is not. Hell no . Half the time he is freaking out about a call or how a coach is reacting or something other than what is happening in the game. He forgets to tell whether someone hit or missed the free throw, emotes before he tells what happened and constantly leaves the listener wondering what the score is or what happened. Sometimes you just have to guess by listening to the crowd. It’s worse in baseball when he acts like a Shocker has hit it out only to have it caught plenty inside the fence. And every shocker shot is “in and out” I wouldn’t trade him but he’s tolerable mainly because he is a great Shocker.

Well, if he's freaking out at least it's about the something in the current game. Better than hearing about what happened in some ex player's career, or a story about some player on a team you're not even watching, or something that happened in a game two weeks ago or might happen two weeks from now. If there was any way to sync Mike with the TV broadcasts I'd have my TV on permanent mute.

Agree. Bob does nothing for the broadcast. The guy who filled in the one game was outstanding I thought.

Wow. Just looked at that. It appears that I only have two things in common with her. We are both female, and we like FVV.

I have a good buddy (longtime KU and WSU fan). He’s a big-time anti-masker and went to the Kentucky game last Saturday. I asked him if he wore a mask (he usually doesn’t take one anywhere and won’t wear one). He said they were in full Nazi mode at AFH.

They told them you get one warning if they see you not wearing a mask; you’re ejected the second time (two strikes and you’re out); he noticed several squawker fans were escorted out during the game. He also said "Liberal Lawrence" is getting even worse... and then said, "I'm done!"

I on occasion listen to this dimwit Hanni who does the KU games, only to mock the following:
-over the top announcer voice...he has two favorite practices...
"he dribbles the ball, does Lightfoot" (this 'does.'. business is weak
He adds a syllable to many end of sentence words..."he scores the basket-uh!"
-listen to him ref while announcing...KU does not foul and rarely gets fouls called for them...

I used to think Rhetorical Bob Davis was bad but this guy is worse...

Kennedy is just right...
