Who would you want to play....given a bracket choice?

I think we would fair well against any of them: 1) KU, because we would want to prove to them why they don't want to play us--their fear of losing. They would have the lump in their throat. 2) Syracuse, we have the guys to shoot the heck out of their zone. 3) Carolina, What Doc said... 4) Kentucky, talented but young--we have the experience.

Now...let's go get them and hope we play one or more of them.

All season I've hoped that we wouldn't run into UNC and Kentucky. Syracuse COULD be problematic, I don't know how well we would play against the length of their zone. Since I haven't seen us play against it... I'd rather avoid it.

UNC is the second tallest team (I think Baylor beats them out for the top spot). I don't like the matchup with UNC or Kentucky. Anthony Davis would have 10+ blocks against us. Unless Ben (whom he would likely guard) was hitting 3s and forces him to come out to the perimeter.

I'm crossing my fingers for KU. That only current projected one seed that doesn't worry me at all.

I think we have even odds or possibly favorable odds against KU, Mizzou, Duke, Ohio State, Michigan State.

Syracuse's zone is easy. They are awful at defensive rebounding (not just this year but for time immemorial, check Kenpom stats if you don't believe this)....so shoot well and crash the boards...For cryin out loud even Turg knew this. Boeheim zone defense is an oxymoron. Syracuse does not play defense....just ask Carmelo. Boeheim has always recruited long athletic lazy talent. He just lets them ball hawk the passing lanes and run. If that doesn't work they lose. To Boeheims credit however he does recruit really talented athletic and long players and keeps it real simple on defense.
