Yes there is. It's whatever reason he started in the first place. Blackmail? Nepotism? Recruiting promises? It never made any sense. Ever.

Supposedly it's because he does all the little things well that don't show up in the box score, and he may be better defensively. But there comes a point that those little things are dwarfed by the fact the score generally goes in the right direction when he's on the bench and the wrong direction when he's on the floor.

Winning is fun. Winning with more teamwork, better shooting, and seeing some weaknesses addressed and improved, is even more fun to witness. If the Shocks would have won at least one of the two losses with K-State and the Mean Green, this would have made us feel better. However, those 2 teams had stingy defenses which exposed some issues and scoring droughts that better be improved. Some AAC teams will have better Defenses than either of those teams. A road win at E. Carolina and defeating Memphis at home would be a great start. Will the Shocks be up to these tasks? I sure hope so.

Great game. Hard to gleen much from it as PV A&M is terrible. Monzy needs to be starting no doubt about that!! Qua had a good game, but again the competition was not good. Jenkins needs more playing time as well.

Hoping these injuries are short lived. Due to injuries, we went deep to our bench the Season we made the Final 4. That contributed to a deeper bench that really helped in the long run.

He does do all the little things well.

Top teams can be really good because they have a JP type player doing the unsung heroe stuff. Unfortunately, the other pieces on the team are not good enough on offense to allow WSU that luxury. I am still hoping JP can get pas the mental block that is preventing him from making a bigger offensive impact.

Ricky still refuses to make the simple play…. Jenkins has similar instincts, but gets a pass due to his lack of experience.
