They played Evansville and had the refs on their team. Not that surprising.

Redbirds looking good with a nice rally to close the half, leading 31-30.

Interestingly, a win here would be the ultimate win-win for Illinois State fans.

          1) Obviously they make the tournament and the accolades that come with that.

          2) Jank finally will have a springboard to jump ship and get out of Normal. He's been itching for that chance since he arrived and this would give him a shot at the bottom feeder BCS jobs that are likely to open (Oregon State, Nebraska, South Carolina, etc.). He gets his wish with a win.

          3) ISUr fans get their wish by getting rid of Jank while getting paid a small buyout in the process. They can upgrade to a coach who actually schedules top 200 teams in the non-conference, and they are a very attractive gig with the entire team coming back next year.

Quite a bit riding on this second half for the Redbirds.

On #1, they will not get much praise unless they make a run in the dance. I'm afraid #2 and #3 will not happen. They will get a little bump in next year's pre-season predictions but ask Indiana State if that means much.

Back to back wins over top 25 teams to bust a bubble will get them flavor of the week status - Go Redbirds...

Nice pub for them and the Valley if they can pull it off...

Tie game with a buck thirty to go, and with some questionable officiating. Here we go again.

Dougie gets a call there, should have been a charge. I didn't see the supposed reach-in.

Nic Moore is a nice player.

Iona is about to get eliminated in the MAAC semifinals.

This is good news. They are a very, very tough team and would have been a potential 11-13 seed. I would much rather face a South Florida, Northwestern, or Seton Hall than the Gaels.

Redbirds are looking a little tired.

It looks like the Bluejays are going to blow them out in the OT.

Yep, shoulda gone for the win in regulation instead of the tie.
