CU 35, DU 34 at the half.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Are we gonna be the only team with a blowout?

      Probably...

If Creighton has to chase Evansville around tomorrow after this close Drake game then they will be dead tired Sunday, if they even make it that far.

I'd be good with the bluejays getting 2 more 1 pt wins...it'd be a nice RPI boost to blow them out again.

Creighton up by 13 now. Drake is playing poorly.

Amazing stat ... Drake 1-for-13 on 3s now. 8% shooting.

The further ahead Creighton gets, the more Drake is just launching up 3s, and the further they're falling behind.

Also, their only 3 was in the first 45 seconds of the game. In the last 35:20, they're 0-12.

Funny camera shot of a bunch of bored elderly WSU fans yawning through the game, though.

GE just missed a wide-open alleyoop, although like the Kyles one I think the pass was bad.

One of the Creighton players just did a running middle finger jab into a Drake player's eye. It looked very, very intentional to me ...

Back to a 6 point game now.

Drake pulls it within 3 with 1 minute left. At least they're going to make Creighton fight every second for the win.

*Edit: Back to 5. Time for fouls. They can't win with the way they're shooting 3s. You're not going to come back on 2s unless Creighton starts bombing at the FT line, and Drake at 1-for-13 from 3 can't do anything else.

What happened that motion offense from Drake that kept getting Simons open for 21 and 29 against WSU? Drake could have and should have beaten CU. Candies and nuts...

I want creighton just as bad as they want us.

                          Drake shot 6.7% from 3 on 1-of-15.

I wonder why they lost this one?

Pretty mediocre output from Creighton. I thought they would step it up in the tourney, but they still seem to be the team that was struggling at the end of the season. Below average offensively, especially from 3 (26%), only 63 points before the fouls at the end. A team that can't play defense and has to rely on scoring should be doing better than that. Especially against a team that played yesterday.

It's entirely possible that the Shockers go cold by Sunday and Creighton heats up. But I just don't see it happening at this point. We certainly won't be shooting 6.7% on three's ...

UNI losing hurts our resume a little bit. Illinois St is not a top 100 team, UNI had a rpi in the 60s. Beating UNI tomorrow would have been better for our resume.

Now the only top 100 team left in Arch Madness (besides WSU) is CU. So unless CU can get to the championship (and I think there chances are only about 55% against either Most or UE), we will not face a top 100 team in this tournament.

Oh well, we just need to keep winning, even if the wins aren't going to do much for us. They certainly help more than a loss.

I think Creighton's odds are much better than 55%.

MoST is borderline top 100 right now, though, right? Beating Evansville and Creighton might make them a top 100 team again.
