I concur about the ISUB fans. They were mildly annoying last night, to say the least. They absolutely think they are going to win today.
A couple of fans near us even commented that their Saturday game could be pretty tough.
I don't have much to say about that except Go Shocks!

Interesting factoid:
Yesterday on the drive into the Lou I caught Scott Van Pelt's show on XM. He said one year ago to the day none of last year's final four teams (UConn, Butler, Kentucky, VCU) were ranked in the top-15 as of Feb. 29, 2011. Our Shocks are just within that number, but the point is just get in the dance and keep playing as long as you hear the music. Being a top-10 team, or a number 1 seed doesn't guarantee anything, except your in the same dance as WICHITA STATE. GO SHOX!!!

Ran Dumb thoughts from the Loo......
1st piano bar last night. Really enjoyed it. Was surprised about that.
Holy gods we have a old fanbase.
Course, we are at the Drury, so.....
The refs are gonna suck.
Nobody here I know, not a big surprise.
Win today, then watch 2nd game, then find a good steak, then a karaoke bar.....

A lot of Shocker fans at the ISU-SIU game lat night. In the corridor some Creighton fans walked past me and one said "Man, this place is crawlin' with Shockers".
I typically don't negatively engage fans from other teams. I was waiting for my wife outside the bathroom after Indiana State won and a Creighton guy came up and said "I'll bet they make you nervous" - I assumed he meant ISU. I said " if you guys don't make me nervous, they certainly don't. "
We are at the Missouri State hotel and haven't seen one - all coming in today I assume. But, a lot of Shockers here. At the bagel shop this morning it was 12 Shockers and one Creighton woman. I had several coffees to carry out in a drink tray and was getting some napkins. The Creighton woman came up and kind of snarled "Where'd you get that tray?" I said "Umm, I think they are only for WSU fans." and smiled. After a long second, I said " the girl at the counter gave it to me." she did not appear amused.
LOL - I made the same comment to my wife about the average age being 106 ( God bless their contributions). But, based on Priority points. Most of them are in the lower seats, so maybe that's all we see. Thank God I'm only 102.Last edited by Rixtoy1; March 2, 2012, 11:15 AM.If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

ISUB fans
Pin,
You know me so there is at least one here in STL.
ISUB fans really demonstrate a severe case of inbreeding. Some of the comments they spout out are dumbfounding, to say the least.
Its getting close to time to head over to the Scott. I am seriously hoping for a large scale beat down on that stupid blue fox.
SRAbove all, make the right call.

looks like our biggest foe may be the flu....that would suck. Anyway I get dental surgery at noon so Im taking some pain in some way I think to myself for the team. Nm that sounds dumb. But FLU SHOTS WORK cant believe it.1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

I was in line with my ticket voucher will all the other students. We had a HUGE line that went out the door, and finally at one point, 3 ISUb students were "escorted" to their voucher spot and they went ahead and let them get their tickets and head to their seats. Lol! There was only THREE of them!
