Wait until he has his breakout game with a double-double, 17 points and 11 boards. He has fantastic footwork, communicates on the floor well already with his teammates, and seems to know when to go hard at the basket. In the postgame, while Tyson, Dex, and Kenny are waiting for questions, you can hear Dex mumble "Way to step up Kenny", and I feel it won't be the last time.

Pohto needs to add strength, and our conditioning team will get him there over time. He'll get stronger throughout the year, but I expect the biggest leaps to come over the upcoming offseasons. He already has it connected between the ears, and once he develops his strength too... I'll be surprised if he's here his senior year; he's got potential written all over him.
Sorry Doc, I might have 'played' this one before...

He's still got a ways to go, but he has a ton to work with.
In the same vein, I think Tre King would be a great complement to Kenny Pohto. They have some similar skill sets, but some not-so similar skill sets as well.

IPBC.......lotta wasted talent there unfortunately. If he applies himself, he'll destroy the Summit.

I doubt he destroys the Summit.

I was pleasantly surprised with Kenny's skills and approach to the game vs Missouri Southern State. Absolutely nothing has changed that opinion. Enjoy him while he's here, because it won't be for as long as we hope.

I feel like Pohto is starting out where we all hoped IPBC would have been by the start of last season.

Zero fouls and not because he wasn't playing defense. We've only seen the tip of the iceberg with this kid. He's going to grow and mature and gain an even greater understanding of the game and we're all going to enjoy that process.

Pohto not exactly soft as Charmin in a very tough game where he went up against formidable big men. Honestly thought he would have a few more hiccups early on.

I think will be seeing a lot of Pohto Photos!

Surely, there are some local Photography studios and shops that could give Kenny an NIL deal.

PA announcer: Kenny for a... Fans: Pohto Finish!

Off course, Kenny is not Finnish, he's Swedish. Oh well.
