Congratulations Shocks! And thank you for an outright title.

I was impressed with this win tonight for several reasons:

1. We did not really play/shoot as well as we have been but still a 13-point road win.
2. Illinois State is a decent team and actually played pretty well.
3. Illinois State received a very favorable whistle, especially on the block/charge calls. I could not believe Carmichael did not pick up his 5th foul on a charge when he bowled over Garrett considering how they had been calling the charges.
4. The target on our back was as big as it has been this year. Of course, it just got a little bit bigger, but that's what we want.

Hope the Coaches and Players enjoy the sweet bouquet from the MVC Championship Victory Chalice on the trip home.
