Illinois State is not a doormat team, and the Shox end up winning by 13 on a less than crisp performance.

Great Win. We are damn good! Hope that the flight back is extra happy for the fellas! Celebrate, but as coach says, get to class early tomorrow! :)

No clue. If you scour our board you'll find a ton of attendance threads. Jank's first 3 years attendance was good, student section was full, and it was a nice loud atmosphere every game. Last year kinda sunk that ship and it obviously didn't recover much this season. We've had way way WAAAAY worse teams that drew way way way better in the past.

We wanted these 5 Seniors to step up this Season. Not only did they do just that, they lead us and brought home the gold!!!!!!!

Not a problem. Mel was at the game I believe. I work 2nd shift so I'm rarely able to attend games anymore.

We should be, with everyone coming back, but we'll see. I know preseason predictions have an effect on the students & community. People around Bloomington-Normal believe what they read a little too much. We were picked in the tank (plus a horrid non-con slate) and folks automatically lost interest. Conversely when I was a student there and local papers ran articles on how good Red Alert (student section) has been and how fun/loud games were, attendance stayed high including several sellouts. So maybe if there's some good hype going into next season the fans will start to come back. Bloomington-Normal has long had a reputation of being extremely fair-weather.

I agree about Jank. He has good talent but they just don't play team ball. I-State should be in the top 4 of the MVC every year and man, they have some good lookin women. Looking forward to the Redbird express in St. Louis.

Did I understand 3G correctly that Toure's Mom will be singing the anthem Saturday? Cool if I caught that correctly. BTW, with the game on Saturday no reason whatsovever to be late or to straggle in right at game time.
