Vote for 3G - apparently NOT

I clicked on the link on the origina;l post, clicked on Padcast and the first thing was go to http://promo.espn.go.com/espn/contests/infiniti/2012/ and vote for Infiniti coach of the year. Nowhere among the 48 listed is 3G. One could exercise his vote for/against Martin or Self. Insulting to not be in the top 48!

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Does your team have bigger ambitions than say, a traditional mid-major going into the NCAA tournament?

GM: I’m not a mid-major/low-major guy. When I was at Winthrop, they said we were a mid-major. What was mid about us? We had to rub two nickels together to get a spark.

        Here, we’re a high-major. We average 10,000 fans a game. I make over a $1 million a year. We fly on private planes. What’s mid-major about us?

We just don’t have a BCS football team.

Our guys are high major. Joe Ragland could play anywhere in the country. Kentucky offered (leading scorer) Garrett Stutz when Billy Gillispie was the coach. We’ve got some guys that can play."

You gotta love HCGM - This is a perfect answer. And, as he said in the Charlotte Observer interview on Saturday when asked if he would jump for $2M+ at South Carolina - "Just how many hamburgers can one man eat?" - Of course that is a non -answer, but the perfect non-answer.

Is it me or is Carl Hall slowing down a bit so he can time the rebound when the BJ misses ... meanwhile about 3 paces behind him Doug McDermott can be seen about to puke trying to catch up?

Marshall handles the press very well. He's just very comfortable with bright lights and speaking.

Compare Turgeon's Spangles ads and Marshall's Johnson's ads. It's easier to plug suits than burgers, but Marshall looks like he could be a male model or professional spokesperson in his ads.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

A foul was probably called on TM on this play.

I posted this in another thread on Saturday, but too good to miss . . . (fits in with this thought)

From a Saturday article in the Charlotte Observer about Marshall's ties to the area and his name coming up in conversations about South Carolina:

"Marshall grew up in Greenwood, S.C., hometown of former Carolina Panther and former Appalachian State star Armanti Edwards. Marshall got his undergraduate degree from randolph-Macon (Va.).

He became a head coach that everybody noticed, or should have, at Winthrop. Even then he had major college hair".

Now, THAT is my favorite HSGM quote of the year. What more do you need?

He was. I just checked the replay of the game and it occured at the 18:06 mark in the second half. Jahenns Manigat for Creighton made both freethrows.

I think video would show McDermott is actually back-pedalling at this instant to be in the lane and draw the charge on whoever is first down the court for WSU. (or, to be first to clothesline the first cheerleader on the court . . .)

No, it was on Stutz for blocking.
