Damn! I am glad they won, but damn it's hard to pull for CU. I still think regardless of the RPI, the Beach deserve to be in the NCAA's and does CU owe their win to the refs?

They always do at home. That's why they would have gotten beaten by 30 at Long Beach or probably by about 10 on a neutral floor. LBSU was really dominating the entire game.

As Cold said in a thread earlier this week, this is a sh*t conference. Other conference fans get pissed at WSU fans for feeling we're better than this league. Well, here's why. We're carrying the damn weight.

I am no CU fan but I do have one question for you. How many years did Creighton get to the Dance and we had no post season at all? I think if you go back over the last 20 years, Creighton has had the most success of any other Valley team. We've been to the Dance how many times in that same era? I don't wonder why fans from other Valley teams "get pissed at WSU fans for feeling we're better than this league." I would get pissed too if the shoe were on the other foot. Until we've had the same measure of success that CU has had, I don't think we should be putting them (or any other Valley team) down. Do we have a legitimate reason to crow loudly for our success this year -- you bet we do and I will crow right along with you. But I'm not going to say we are too good to be in the Valley. You have to prove a statement like that before anyone is going to listen, and one year's success does not qualify. It's only a start, a beginning, albeit a VERY GOOD beginning.

We're gonna have the same amount of NCAA Tournaments in the last 6 years as the BJs have.

Creighton had to play just about perfect basketball to squeak this one out. Any Bluejays fan who wasn't at least a little bit humbled tonight is a mongoloid.

CU will ooze back into the rankings next week. Here's hoping they can stay in long enough for us to destroy their azzes in St. Louis.

Once the ball goes across, no part of the body can touch it in the backcourt. I think a piece of the ball caught the line. Both feet don't have to cross, only the ball going across matters.

I know in high school that is not true.

In high school in order to establish front court position when coming from the back court all three points, both feet and ball must cross.

Watching this game it really made me appreciate having a team instead of a bunch of players that try to go 1 on 1 all the time. I'm glad CU won for the Valley but if LB played team basketball down the stretch (and the refs don't give the game away) they probably win this game. Ware is good but he is human, pass the damn ball kid.

The Valley really needed that win. I'm glad CU was able to somehow pull it out although I thought LBSU looked like the better team. Hard to root for the Bluejays but I also have a little difficulty rooting for a college team that calls themselves The Beach.

Personally, after the performance by the Valley today I think the Valley should just give the Shocks and Creighton byes into the MVC Tournament Championship game and forget about the rest.
