I really wish Stutz would have been allowed to play up in Omahaha. Our team would have made a lot more noise nationally with a multi-faceted 7 footer on the floor. It's hard to pass the eye test when you don't have a full complement of legitimate bigs on national T.V. Of course one could research the fact that we have a very potent big man on our team, but you know how lazy the national media is.

If Stutz plays in Creighton like he did last night at home, we get ranked in both polls. Take that to the bank.

Don't forget the impact our team made on the national media when we got spanked by Mich. St. while showcasing Paul Miller against their legit bigs. It makes a difference.

I don't think there is any doubt whatsovever about that. I think most Shocker fans are in the same boats. Of course, most of us want both.

Our previous game plan of late has been to first try and get the ball inside to Stutz and if that isn't available, then go back outside and have Rags, Ben, Toure, Kyles or Williams shoot the three.

And now the game plan is to try and get the ball inside to Stutz, and if that doesn't work, Stutz shoots the three.

            Works for me.
I think our game plan is giveth what they taketh away and taketh what they giveth away. And we have the versatility and depth of talent to do that pretty much irrespective of how teams play. To paraphrase MSU Coach Lusk, you pick your poison and pray.

Even if it shouldn't, one thing that could come into play is that if WSU wins the Valley by 2 games when expected to finish third?, is DM being a sophmore and Garrett a senior. The feeling may be DM has 2 more years to win it and since his team, who was suppose to win the Valley didn't, the POY goes to Stutz.

Stutz has silenced the critics and become a force to reckon with. There are players in the Valley that we as Shocker Fans can't wait to graduate because they do harm to us in terms of winning. Likewise, the Valley Teams might be glad Garrett graduates because he has been a handful for our foes this Season. Here is a key to never forget. All 5 of our Seniors have made us proud both on and off the court because they are quality young men.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

WSU was picked second by most.

Has it made it to shockernet yet that Garrett is playing in Poland?

Sorry if its old news, but I'm not sure we've covered that yet.

                      ...and from twitter, August 14th:

I guess he can always get on Duck Dynasty after his basketball career is over.
