They've lost one game at home this year to a pretty good Vanderbilt team (game was close). We all know they beat Kansas, I think they jacked up around 33 three-pointers that game and made around 11 or 12 of them. I don't know if this was an indication of what their offensive style is, but obviously they weren't afraid to shoot it.

Travel, game time, road game, solid program, are definitely big challenges for the Shox. They're playing really well right now, just hoping the momentum doesn't stall out on Saturday.

So far I coulld only see about 4 posts on this thread that you might argue show less respect to Davidson than perhaps they really deserve. But I do agree how much 3G and the players respect Davidson is much more important than how the fans view Davidson through our admittedly gold-colored glasses.

Good info, although I'm not sure how good a barometer the RPI is regarding the relative strength of the teams. I do not pretend to understand the details of the RPI but it seems to me it is as much a measure of your schedule strengh as the actual quality of your team. Nothing in those numbers leads me to believe this will be a cake-walk.

RealTimeRPI.com has the Shocks power rating at 31 vs 63 for Davidson. Not sure what ESPN's new BPI shows.

Still I'm not betting against the Shocks. It will be ineresting to see the line that comes out of Vegas.

The latest has WSU as an 11 in BPI and Davidson at 79. UNI and Missouri State are a few spots above them and those were close games on the road.

Davidson is by far one of the tougher teams we've faced this year. Much tougher than the Drake team we lost to. The boys can't slide by with their B-game. I'm hoping for a close win.

We only have a win against Austin Peay in the bracketbusters. We have lost every other game. Time to change that. It will be very tough, but this team can do it!

Actually our win was against Cleveland State. We beat the Peay on our return trip.
