I would actually prefer that more people would stay lukewarm on us for a few more weeks....

Indeed. So much of tournament success is how easy of a road a team has to the final four.

All the press certainly should help recruiting.

Just to be clear: the jinx only pertains to the cover. :) Oh ... and also, it doesn't exist.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

What's it been, about 46 years?

I would go so far as to suggest he should win it hands down anyways.

Who else is really in contention, CU's McDermott? Surely, having the opportunity to coach the star/leader of your team for 20 years should not be considered a normal situation. Does convincing your own son to play for your team count towards recruiting prowess? Let's agree that it doesn't.

Actually, I'd be a little sad, if 3G doesn't get the nod for The Valley this year.
I think Pringles original intention was to make tennis balls... but on the day the rubber was supposed to show up a truckload of potatoes came. Pringles is a laid-back company, so they just said, "**** it, cut em up!" - MH

He shall, he must, how could he not? This is the question that plagues modern man!

I think some of you are missing a little sarcasm in Marty's post.

I ws questioning the value of the current run to recruiting, when much to my surprise, I discovered that if everybody comes back, we have 5 Sr's on the roster again next year. Only 4 appear to be scholarship players next year.

Sedond edit: Oops, the original post got quoted before I corrected my really bad miscount of next year's Sr. cass.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

By 2014, this year is ancient history to a 17-year-old player. That won't matter much because there's not a single So. on the roster.
Unless someone leaves in the off season. It happens every year. Hamilton, Richardson, Manigault, Ede, etc.

Well, at least they haven't said anything this year and given us the "kiss of death."
