I would go so far as to suggest he should win it hands down anyways.

Who else is really in contention, CU's McDermott? Surely, having the opportunity to coach the star/leader of your team for 20 years should not be considered a normal situation. Does convincing your own son to play for your team count towards recruiting prowess? Let's agree that it doesn't.

Actually, I'd be a little sad, if 3G doesn't get the nod for The Valley this year.

I ws questioning the value of the current run to recruiting, when much to my surprise, I discovered that if everybody comes back, we have 5 Sr's on the roster again next year. Only 4 appear to be scholarship players next year.

This can't help recruiting that much. We're already over for next year, and we only have one available for 2013. That one might improve based on what the Shox are doing now. By 2014, this year is ancient history to a 17-year-old player. That won't matter much because there's not a single So. on the roster.

Unless someone leaves in the off season. It happens every year. Hamilton, Richardson, Manigault, Ede, etc.
