Excellent response. The argument to look at these percentages fails based on reflecting too small of sample sizes. You don't have to throw out the entire first week of the season. Simply convert the Temple game that we lost in overtime to a win and you have a 3-2 record which is 60% instead of 40%.

        • We are up to the top 5 seed in Lunardi's latest. http://insider.espn.go.com/mens-coll...ks-bracket-now

FSU, Louisville, Wisconsin and Indiana are all ahead of us. I do not see how we jump over Indiana but I think there are possibilities for one of the other three to drop below the Shocks.

          • Anyone seen the CBS bracket out today? I would be happy if this was the final bracket

            • That's an epic bracket metal.

Opening round against Oral Roberts. Face Cal or Louisville in Round of 32. Possible Sweet 16 match up with KU, Memphis, or Alabama.

              • If we are going to play KU in tis tourney, it needs to be in New Orleans. Battle of New Orleans II anyone?

Was listening to Mitch Holthus on 810WHB in KC. He said we were the top 4 seed on the verge of a 3 seed. At first I thought he said Lunardi's bracketology, but we are still a 5. I see in a previous post, that we are the top 5 in the ESPN. Who knows...

31 years ago? Is it possible I'm that old?

Louisville lost to South Florida. That should move us to a 4 seed.

                              KU - 1
                              WSU - 4
                              Creighton - 7
                              Kansas State - 8

                              • I wonder if Lunardi's projection for WSU is influenced at all by his relatively low opinion of the Shocks. In ESPN's latest power rankings, where WSU stands 11th, Lunardi (16th) is the only voter to have them outside his top 15, and several others actually place the Shocks in their top 10s.

Oh, well -- he STILL isn't on the committee.
