Now the question, can the Shox come home and beat SMS after an emotional win? How many times have we've seen teams get an emotional win and then come out flat the next game and blow it? With Weems in town I don't see that happenin'.

That same logic could have overtaken us tonight after our last big win--but no sweep was in sight. Let's hope we get back to sweeping Mo State. We are not just beating solid teams right now. We are pounding them.

I was just thinking that I hope the guys can re-focus for the Bares, but then I thought WTH let everyone enjoy the hell out of this huge victory. We can start worrying about MSU tomorrow. We've ragged on the Shocks many times for not taking advantage of big game opportunities. But they sure as hell came through big time today. This was a game for guys with 3-letter names - Joe and Ben were great - although everyone played pretty well with the exception of Garrett. But that is what makes for a great team. Pick up one of your studs when they have an off-game or run into foul trouble. Simply outstanding work Shocks.

My guess is two ought to do it. Fortunately, the one today was relatively insignificant. I imagine both the Coaches and his teammates will have some fun at Joe's expense when they review the tape of today's game.
