Two things regarding the game today
1) If we play like we did yesterday, I will be mentally preparing myself for a loss only to see a dramatic win at the end. But either way, I'll be prepared.
2) I'm not sure if the Cincinnati SMU game yesterday was more SMU not being able to play well because of a long layoff or Cincinnati playing better than they previously did this year. Therefore, if we play our game, we should win going away.

DD, TW and AG have to have their respect from the arc so they just can't focus
on TE and that means hitting some early threes. Mo needs to play aggressive without
fouling. Need north of 14 assists and south of 12 turnovers. They have nothing to lose but
we may so we will see their best effort. We can't play scared to lose.

Actually, that last drive/charge by David Collins showed a lack of BB IQ. He had tunnel vision and selfishness and was going to score no matter what. S. Florida is a very talented team who lacks IQ.

I agree, and I thought it was a charge, but normally in that particular situation, the call goes the other way

I hope we can get a rim protector or two to complement Udeze. I prefer blocking shots but Mo did all he was capable of.

Pretty obvious charge confirmed by the replay. Good call by the ref, good defense by the guards to funnel him to Mo, and good D by Mo to take the charge.

Thought Collins had the right idea in going to the basket to draw a foul. I don’t think it was necessarily selfish. Attack the basket and put the pressure on the defense and make the refs make a call. Unfortunately for him Mo just made a great play.

Our guards didn’t do any funneling either. Collins just went right past them straight to the rim which is the opposite of what we wanted in that situation. You don’t funnel a player with a wide open lane to the basket and nearly let him go coast to coast lol. Again credit to Mo for making a play, but that wasn’t selfish or low BBIQ by Collins.

Defensively we want to keep a defender on the ball and make him change directions, much like Alterique did on the final play of the game. Dex got beat on the Collins play.

LOL For his size, he may fit the best. He blocks shots but isn't tall enough to protect rims like Cliff, Antoine, or even Shadrack Lufile did (we had 3 rim protectors on that team).

Maybe but I've seen Collins play hero ball before. He had an open player or two to shoot it.
