Agreed, I don't agree Jarreau over Dexter. Though Dexter really came on at the end of the year.

Also as expected Coach Brown was UNANIMOUS Coach of the year.

Well this should be good bulletin board for the WSU team.

Message was - Nobody really believes you are AAC champion - you won it by your schedule, Houston and Memphis are better than you. Hell, you might be the 4th best team in the AAC behind SMU.

That was expected. I was pleasantly surprised to see Tyson as a Co-Player of the Year. Good for the AAC in having the flexibility to name Co-Players of the Year. Grimes is a very worthy Co-POY as well.

Sasser on the 2nd team makes no sense to me ...

                  Looks about as I expected.

Etienne being co-player of the year was a nice surprise. I didn't expect that. Just expected Grimes.

These awards are all stats driven. Even in the Valley some of our players got looked over at times because WSU basketball is all about balance, team ball and stuff that doesn't show up on Stat sheets (like Dennis).

I like it. Tyson was deserving. Coach IB was a no brainer.

Dexter is the defensive player of the year. I don’t care who they voted for.

                        Congrats!!

And now whover Dexter guards will get zero points during the AAC tourney.

                        Enjoy!

We were picked 7th. We had no players picked for all conference teams. We finished first. We have the Coach of the year, player of the year, 3rd team player (AG), rookie team player (RC). We can argue that DD should have been defensive poy but I think we far exceeded anyone's expectations from October/November.

                              Update to Dex's bio:

2021 - NOT named Defensive Player of the Year by the American Conference
