It's really funny (and a bit confusing) because almost without exception during any televised WSU game that is what the announcers would use to describe DD: Defensive stopper.

I'll probably get some blow-back from the locals, but DD also displayed better character than Jarreau, at least on the court.

Well this should be good bulletin board for the WSU team.

Message was - Nobody really believes you are AAC champion - you won it by your schedule, Houston and Memphis are better than you. Hell, you might be the 4th best team in the AAC behind SMU.

You are right. That is exactly what I am hearing and reading from the talk boards. The shocks still have work to do. Nobody thinks they are the real champion. They say the shocks won because of a favorable schedule. The game against USF or Temple will not be easy. If it USF the shocks will have to beat them for a 3rd time. And if I am right I don't think any shocker team has ever beaten Temple twice in a season.

Time to still fight shocks. Play tough defense, rebound, play smart and make shots. Go shovks.

From what I could tell it was mostly the Houston fans crying but Memphis had some as well. Bottom line is you control what you can control and let the rest fall in to place. It wasn't WSU's fault SMU and others couldn't get their crap together with Covid and that Penny was scared to reschedule the game in Wichita. Memphis fan should be pi$$ed at their coach more than at WSU.
