Probably correct in your attendance speculation, I know Dex's mom was there (if you get a chance, introduce yourself to her, you will not be disappointed, she is an amazing woman) so it's likely others were there as well.

Dex has a look of confidence that's never really been noticeable until now. Even when he misses a shot, on the next possession he is still moving and cutting hard. The best compliment I could add is that he's playing "recklessly" in 2021 (and that's good). Almost like his hair is on fire...

Watched the replay of the Shockers AAC clincher today. I really thought Trey Wade played very hard today and really went to battle with USF's cadre of big men, and thay are truly big men.

Trey tied USF's 7 foot center Michael Durr for game high rebounding honors with 9. Trey is not a big man at all for his postion by today's standards.

Add 8 points on 4-7 shooting and I'll take that from Trey every day of the week.

Alterique seems like he has been playing more consistently lately. He had another solid game.

Kudos to these to seniors who may or may not be back next year. And a big thank you to the two senior walk ons, Jacob Herrs and Bryson Bush. Takes some perservernce to be a teams punching bag for 4 years when you know playing time will be minimal and when you probably could have played at a lower level. I think these guys or more valuable to a team then they generally get credit for .

That last paragraph is perfect.... that’s why, in spite of possible NET ramifications, I’m VERY ok with those seniors playing at the end...

WSU will get into the Big Dance. They are a lock if they win their first round game.
I don't think the selection committee will be able to ignore their "feel good story," their conference championship in the seventh rated conference, their strength of schedule, their record.

They would probably like to screw WSU in favor of Duke or someone like them, but I don't think they could stand the optics.

Ignore KenPom and Net Rankings. They are crap.
If the coaches have us in say, 28, it would be hard for these AD's to shaft us.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Mo has been exceptional these past couple months. Dex is looking like a completely different player than the beginning. AG has settled in and has the keys to car. TE is a stud. Trey Wade is playing hard and contributing in all ways.

Things are looking promising for next year if everyone is back and starts the year with how we are playing right now.
