As such, all but one person in thebullspen.com predictions contest is taking WSU, and the holdout admits voting with his heart and not his head. Average predicted margin of Shocker victory is about 13 points.
The chip is just hanging there right there in front of us. Go get that banner!“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

With UCF's win over ECU, the AAC Tournament seedings coming into focus.- If we're the No. 1 seed, we'll play the winner of USF v. Temple at 11 a.m. ET on Friday.
- If we're the No. 2 seed, we'll play the winner of Tulsa v. (Tulane or ECU) at 7 p.m. ET.
- If we're the No. 3 seed, we'll play the winner of UCF v. (Tulane or ECU) at 9 p.m. ET
(I swear to God it will be 20 years before I have the USF / UCF / ECU acronyms internalized. So much worse than ISUr and ISUb.)Last edited by Wuzee; March 5, 2021, 02:16 PM.“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. RH: Shockers Face USF on Saturday
https://goshockers.com/news/2021/3/5...-saturday.aspx
Wichita State will recognize seniors Alterique Gilbert, Trey Wade, Jacob Herrs and Brycen Bush after the game. All four could return next season to use eligibility granted by the NCAA because of the pandemic.
"I'm so excited about this opportunity, just for those kids to be in this situation where we could be able to cut down nets in Wichita," Brown said after Wednesday's win at Tulane. "I like the fact that we control our own destiny."
The Shockers will want to finish strong against the Bulls (8-11, 4-9), something they did not do in the first meeting.
Wichita State led by five points with 17 seconds to play in regulation. It gave up a four-point play and two more free throws (twice fouling three-point shooters) to go to overtime. If Yetna and Durr are, in fact, both out for this game it better not get to overtime.
WSU men are looking for their 1st AAC Championship in any sport ((WSU women have 3 AAC Championships). Maybe this year will have an asterisk by it but the Shockers have probably been impacted as much or more than any of the other teams in the league. You can only play the teams that show up and the Shocks so far have done a good job of doing that and dealing with all the uncertainty not to mention losing their head coach right before the season starts. (WSU women have 3 AAC Championships)
GO SHOCKS!
