I wish CU would play like this against us. Unfortunately they won't. I really don't like CU losing this game. I just start getting this sinking feeling again that this league just finds a way to screw itself.
I can't imagine CU losing 3 in a row, I hope it happens.

I must say though, I don't mind it too much when it benefits WSU for potential title hopes.
I do relish in the fact that those CU fans celebrating after DU's win over us last week, just peed one down their legs for the 2nd loss in a row as the nation's 15th ranked team. Ouch, indeed.
I would imagine that arrogant little *****, LincolnJay was at the front of the line. Too bad for him. I'm irritated CU lost. That destroys any chance WSU had to pick up 1 or 2 really quality wins to perhaps improve a seeding if they finish strong. Now everything seems dicey. The Shocks MUST win the next 2 games, starting with UNI tomorrow night.

I couldn't care less about this loss for the Bluejays, it changed nothing. The Shocks need to worry about the Shocks. They were just guaranteed a pair of games in the next 4 games with extremely focused teams. One on the hunt to get back into early season form..and a run at the ARCH or into the NIT, and a severely injured big dog who will be at home and we're coming in to poke it with a stick. Champions take the step and win when they are supposed to and when given a chance against an equal opponent. Tomorrow starts the sack check.Robin Roberts: "My mother used to say, when you strut, you stumble."

I still think CU would be a quality win if we were fortunate enough to get it. Winning the Valley would count for seeding improvements. But yes, anytime you get Evansville'd, you do lose a bit of luster.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

We can laugh all we want right now, but should we find ourselves on the losing end at Creighton - meltdown city. I'm thanking EU the opportunity they gave us, but unless we take advantage of it, their win tonight means nada. Go Shox!

A win on the road against a top 30 or so RPI team would still be just as huge. The Valley is there for the taking. Let us please not forget that we have one very tough and determined UNI team here tomorrow night. And if memory serves, we had no cakewalk the last time we played them; we trailed almost the entire second half. We can worry about Satuirday on Thursday.
