Here we are again. Many, many times we have been here. And we choked. Time and time again. Well, I am cautiously optimistic that this time, perhaps, we become the aggressor and TAKE what we want. As opposed to going out and hoping for the best. If we ever need to have a killer instinct, it is NOW.

My dream is for us on Wednesday night to gain our identity as a team. I believe that our identity is feeding the post to Stutz and Hall ALL NIGHT LONG!! And for the love of GOD! Close down the freaking lane on defense.

    Zone anyone??

Alabama all over Auburn 68-35. Auburn scoring only 11 points in the second half.

Auburn not not real strong (RPI = 127), but this was at Auburn and without Tony Mitchell. Maybe Mitchell was more trouble than he was worth.

You're just in a bad mood. I was in a similar mood when we only beat those Valley killers by 1 a few weeks ago.

Roll you by double digits? Ha, good one. This makes a chance at a win there for us even more difficult. I extremely doubt CU is gonna lose 3 in a row.

And this doesn't have anything to do with the rivalry discussions. Please, I would like to see your thoughts on the "issue". Maybe after a few days of sulking you can come on back and further the discussion.
        Deuces Valley.
        ... No really, deuces.

Meltdown city? When we're gonna be underdogs in the game? Meltdown I would hope not. This would be the only game on the schedule that if we lose, it shouldn't warrant a meltdown. Not in the least.

Seeing how ESPN is "god" and this game is slated as part of rivalry week....no more discussion needs to take place LOL ;)

Not out of the question. You're not in the choir, so I'll tell you anyway, Gregg Marshall will bring you guys something different and better than last time.

But alas, CU will be fired up again, trying to prove manhood again, especially after these last two (legit) losses.

              We'll see what happens.

The guys on the CU post game show are begging the fans to be loud and raucous for WSU on Saturday. :sneakiness:

the valley math must be off, they gave creighton the loss, but still list them ahead of us in the standings

It is the same kind of math they use to run the clock at the Valley tournament.

                    • I'm getting an ice cream headache from all this paralysis by analysis - RPI . . . Power ratings . . . opponent strength of schedule versus distance driven by bus . . . Yikes.
I know it makes for good conversation, but this discussion about how bad it was for the conference co-leader to lose and its effect 3 weeks from now reminds me of when I'm playing Blackjack and the jerk next to me is screaming about how other people's play "ruined" his hand - "Dude - you made me bust!". . . just play your own cards, Dude.
Just play the games and win. Win the conference tourney and you're in . . . don't win the conference tourney, but win all but the Championship game and you're in . . . from afar, everything you read says WSU has established themselves as a tourney team - just keep winning.
It makes for interesting discussions as to exactly which seed we might have in what town at what time and against who, but it is all just admiring the problem. There is alot of ground to cover in the next three weeks and I am looking forward to enjoying the ride.

I love the fact that Creighton lost and if we are a better team, and things come together and we don't have an off night - we could/should win. That's why they play the games.

I am a Newbie and know nothing - but, I am enjoying this ride.

OK - I am off to other boards now to set people straight on politics and abortion . . .

                      :onthego:
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

You think a loss to Creighton will result in "meltdown city"? See what happens if we lose tonight!! Nuclear!
