I like the option of having Stutz get the ball at the top of the key and look for Hall way down low. That gets the opposing team's center out of the paint and gives Hall room to operate and a guy that is typically weaker than The Beast. We've been missing that lately. I suspect Orukpe's lack of offensive skills has contributed to the decision to play them seperately. That is unfortunate.

One note on the Hall/Stutz topic: Hall doesn't have the effective range needed to keep his man from sagging on garrett when he plays the 4. While that does open up the cut to the basket for Hall, it also negates Stutz being able to go to work on the block. Years past we have been lucky enough to have PFs with shooting touch, Hall just doesn't quite have the touch to consistantly make teams pay for giving him room at the elbows.
Shox need to come ready to play and stop the dang high ball screen!!!

I just hope the players aren't as nervous as I am about the UNI game. With the sCUm fail at EU, the importance of this game is HUGE.
The Shocks have regained complete control of the race for now. Win tonight to maintain control, get ISU-R and/or sCUm on the road, and this season becomes very special.

As big as this game is, it only does 2 things: improves seeding and allows for one mistake in the final 3 conference games. Win or Lose tonight, Saturday still determines the regular season champ. That said, I would rather see the shox win this, and the next 5 going into St Louis.-Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind-

UNI has to have some confidence going into this one. They have some pretty talented guards and we will need to play good defense. If we can score inside like we have been though we should win.

I really think that halftime at the Indiana State game was the turning point for this team. For once we actually completely changed our game plan and started getting the ball to Stutz or getting smart shots every play as opposed to taking a bunch of threes. I felt at the half that the way the team came out in the second half was going to define the rest of their season.
Tonight is going to be a hard battle and UNI is going to play well, but I think we still win. And then on Saturday, I think we go in there and completely surprise everybody with a dominating win at Creighton. I think this team is going to do some special things.
