Look at Baylor.

Without the shutdown, they would have beat the doors off of ISU and (likely) would have beaten KU in Allan Fieldhouse as well.

Obviously, Baylor is a much superior team vs WSU, but it just goes to show that even exceptional squads can struggle with long layoffs.

It’s not quite the same since Baylor was not able to practice during their layoff while WSU could at least practice.

We prob need 2 more wins to punch our ticket. A loss against presumably SMU wouldn’t be a killer, although SMU hasn’t played a game in over a month and will have 1 tuneup game in the tourney.
