He's done this since his freshmen year though. I cant count how many times I've seen someone pull up right in front of him and shoot right over him or drop a floater. If he had half the defensive prowess as Orupke he would be a lottery pick.

Greg Dreiling spent how many years in the NBA? Stutz in my opinion is better than Dreiling. I realize a couple of decades have past and players are much better, but I think Stutz could stick with a team in the NBA long enough for him to further develop physically. If so, I think Stutz cuold be a very productive player in 3-5 years....

I think his opportunistic defense (as the opponenets see it) has little to do with him not wanting to foul (out). His lateral quickness.. well.. we've all seen what his opponenets have done against him, offensively. The tape speaks for itself.

He's still clearly first team All-MVC. He's DOMINATED on offense that much, down on the blocks.

He's still getting stronger and growing into his 7'0 frame. He could pack many more pounds of strength on his frame. As he gets bigger, he will get faster, stronger, quicker, and jump higher.

Garrett Stutz is THE MAN. Better than he was before. Bigger, faster, stronger, quicker, and jumps higher."

I think he can make the NBA. If he does it could be a little help in recruiting. Players who have NBA hpoes sometimes look for a coach that has sent players on to the Leauge.

WstateU is probably one of the idiots who was calling Garrett fifi earlier this year and the last three years. Well I don't know how good much better he'll get but he is a lot bigger, and stronger than last year. I don't know if he'll be good enough for the NBA but while you may sell him short, I won't. I don't think he's peaked yet.

You're totally off base and I'm not going to get in a pissing match with you. Your earlier post immediately reminded me of one of my favorite shows as a youngster and I tried to make a connection between the show and Garrett's progress. I've been a Shocker fan for 45+ years and Garrett is one of my all-time favorite players. He is getting bigger, faster, stronger, quicker and appears to be jumping higher. Stay tuned... March could be a lot of fun.

Great to see Stutz getting some love from the local media. He has been tearing it up lately and made a couple of jaw dropping plays against Missouri State. He has also been able to hit a three in the last couple of games which he struggled doing earlier in the season. He has a good stroke so hopefully he is gaining some confidence from deep because that is a great addition to his game. I've always believed in his ability and the fact that he has been consistent and able to stay out of foul trouble this season have turned him into an exceptional player.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

I wonder if the two women sitting behind me at Shocker games will now stop bashing Stutz on command.

                        ... No really, deuces.

Me and another guy have come pretty close to blowing it open and letting them have it. But then again, the women are probably close to their late 50's/early 60's and have no earthly clue what they're talking about. I may have to ask them if they saw the "dunk" last night though.

You should ask them what game they are watching because its not the same game you are watching.
