My take: Mo is very good when things are moving quickly. When he’s posting up and waiting for a double team that doesn’t come instantly, the explosive element is neutralized and he takes too long to get into what is usually a very deliberate series of pivots and risky footwork and dribbling. Often when he starts that, the double team comes late but he’s already committed.
SO: getting the ball to Mo off of penetration (like we see tonight) will be a more effective strategy than entry passes to the post unless/until he can make his post moves (which aren’t bad) more decisive and explosive.
