Im going to go on a very big limb here and gather he's probably being looked at for his dunking rather than his 3 pt %

That's the limb I would hang the hammock on as well. The other limb isn't so big.

38% is very respectable from the 3 point line. Kyles has a sweet stroke and deserves to compete in both.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

Coach called it today and I have been thinking it all year. DK is a two trick pony: shoot threes and catch lob dunks (sometimes). Not a ton of lob opportunities even in a runaway. If you are going to be a shooter you better work your *** off coming off screens and make them when you aren't in rhythm. No point defending DK past the three point line.

Edit...poop, just seeing if this gets censored too
          Edit two...Fanny, Heinie, Turdcutter
          Edit three...Success!

While I will support DK in this contest and hope that he wins, I have watched three of the four shocker losses either entirely or in parts and was struck by the number of 3's that DK jacked up in those defeats.

Some people have even opined that it was his confidence. I would say that confidence doesn't have anything to do with 1 for 12 from the field. If you're having an off shooting night, you should at least curb your shooting and find other ways to help the team. I didn't note that Doug McD shot a whole bunch of shots the first time we played Creighton. He did other things to help his team. I wish DK would do the same.

That being said, I hope he has a much better night during the competition and represents the U well........I'd like to see him win, but he'll have to have a great night to do what Andrew Goudelock did last year.

That's actually a very sobering thought.
