I wasn't going to go to the Creighton game in Omaha this year but my nephew talked me into it. He really wants to go. Which surprised me because all he does at the Shocker home games is sit there and play on his i-phone (a lot like a lot of Shocker fans this year).

We got tickets in section 224 Row E for $12 but the ticketmaster fees were pretty high -over $7 per ticket. I just got the tickets tonight so there are still plenty of tickets available.

The Stub Hub tickets were all a lot higher so I would suggest going through Ticketmaster.

The guy in the Creighton ticket office told me that they were seating Shocker fans in sections 223 and 224.

I definitely would have except that I wanted to get in section 223 (Shocker section).

It was very difficult dealing with the guy on the phone. He kept trying to give me the wrong event and he couldn't pronounce anything correctly. If I hadn't repeated the date and time as well as the teams, he would have given me the wrong game (he tried to give me the Womens game and whoever Creighton was playing on Febr. 4).

My neighbors at the shocker games ordered mine for me. She said she went through the Shocker ticket office, so I am guessing I will be in sec 223. Haven't received the tickets yet.

I just saw where Omaha might get a foot of snow tomorrow. It is a good thing our game is on the 11th and not the 4th.

Hopefully it won't snow anymore this next week.

My wife and I are going. We are dropping my son off in Olathe with the in laws, going to the game and then staying in downtown Omaha for a night cap.... A win would be nice, but I always enjoy a trip

I talked to one of my sisters in Omaha last night. It sounds like I may have several relatives at the Creighton game. Unfortunately they will all be rooting for the Jays.

It is amazing how things have changed over the last 10 years or so. In the 80s and 90s I would have a large group of relatives from Omaha go with me to the Creighton-WSU games and they would all be wearing WSU gear and rooting for the Shocks. Not any more.

As it turns out, they only ended up with 9+ inches of snow. The forecast is for sunshine this weekend with highs in the 30s on Friday and 20s on Saturday. But NO MORE SNOW.

Had a connection in Omaha come through with tickets so we'll be going up. I believe we'll be stuck in a sea of blue. Can't wait to experience the hostility.

Before I buy tickets for a few folks, any other places besides StubHub or Ticket Master? Rock Bottom is as good as anywhere else?

Haven't looked on secondary market for a while, but $12 upper deck corners still available. It comes out to about $35 for a pair through the Century Link /Ticketmaster.

It will be a sea of white (hopefully with a lot of yellow sprinkled in) as they are having a WHITE OUT just for their non rival Wichita.
