  • I finally found it!

I finally found out why ESPN wants to see Murray State and Nevada play.

    Win Percent Rank – (WSU - 13 and Nevada - 21)
    RPI Rank – (WSU - 26 and Nevada - 74)
    Strength of Schedule Rank – (WSU - 66 and Nevada - 196)
Offensive Points per game Rank – (WSU - 31 and Nevada - 122)
    Assists per game Rank – (WSU - 63 and Nevada - 113)
Field Goal Percent Rank – (WSU - 35 and Nevada -110)
Defensive Points per game Rank – (WSU - 40 and Nevada - 90)
    Rebounds per game Rank – (WSU - 34 and Nevada - 76)
    Free-throw percentage Rank – (WSU - 73 and Nevada - 300)
    Steals per game Rank – (WSU - 180 and Nevada - 204)
    Turnovers per game Rank – (WSU - 63 and Nevada - 117)
*Three points goals per game Rank – (WSU - 101 and Nevada - 56)

See this really isn't the ESPN Bracketbuster Weekend, it's the ESPN "Jack it up Baby" Weekend event. Nevada Shoots 19.8 three-balls per game and makes 7.7. However, our Shockers only shoot 19.7 three-balls per game and makes 7.0.

I just wish ESPN would have let us (WSU), know that this was the deciding factor. I am certain Coach Marshall would have adjusted his offensive strategy to accommodate this requirement.

As you all can clearly see there is really nothing here to see, move along, move along.

Wait, wait, wait – all hope has not faded and you guys should know me by now that I never give up. If the Shockers can increase their average three-ball attempts by five more that will give us 44 more attempts during the next two games. Then, and this is the tricky part, Joe Ragland has to have back-to-back UNLV type games and make just 31 of those attempts. He can either make 15 tonight and 16 on Saturday, or vice-a-versus it doesn’t really matter to me. Plus he made 90 percent of his UNLV three-balls, we are now only asking him to make 70.5 percent. Piece of cake, money in the bank, and then we get Murray State.

New Rankings (if Rags’ does his part)
Three points attempts per game Rank – (WSU - 19.864 and Nevada - 19.857)
Three points goals made per game Rank – (WSU – 7.73 and Nevada – 7.71)
Three point goals percentage per game Rank – (WSU – 38.9% and Nevada – 38.8%)

You know, maybe it's not that they don't consider WSU to be as good as Nevada? Maybe they think Murray State sucks worse than Iona and has a soft schedule and inflated results! Somehow this Nevada ordeal has to make sense.

The problem is that ESPN's Katz mentioned Nevada, not WSU, as one of the four "mids" with the best chance at an at-large.

They're pumping some funny air through the vents in Bristol.

Are any of the other ESPN guys repeating that wisdom? I didn't see his article or whatever it was.

I've seen one other ESPN blurb, can't recall the specific article/entry, that basically echoed the same thing. That's when I suggested it may be time for the tinfoil hats.

That explains why they had an hour special on the worst QB in NFL history, Tim Tebow.

It's all coming through clearly now.

Help me out. Are we saying that tinfoil is out of style now?

Tebow is better than Ryan Leaf or JaMarcus Russell.

I'll take Leaf or Russell. At least they didn't have unwarranted hype surrounding them.

Well someone is hearing from the masses and WSU is starting to make some headway - Item #3.

1.Florida State guard Michael Snaer said on ESPNU’s “The Experts” Tuesday that he’s 100 percent confident the Seminoles will win the ACC.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Here is Andy "Nostradamus" Katz's sister (Serene Branson), translating her brothers thoughts into english on Bracketbusters and our Wichita State State Shockers.

A Los Angeles reporter seemed to have a stroke while live on TV.
