We struggled to lock down Cumberland the last three years.
    That's an understatement.

      Fair point.

But I remember here in Wichita with a game on the line and Cumberland going straight to the hole like a knife through butter. Still wonder how that could have happened. Anybody else remember that?

Didn’t Dex get called for a cheap foul?

Yes . I do and you are right. I remember him getting to the cup every time he wanted to. And when we double him he would pass to someone else for a wide open shot. He was so physical that he seems like he got every call whenever anyone touched him on his way to the cup. It was nightmare.

I rewatched the ORU game vs OSU and Gilbert will be able to get in the lane at will. It’s a matter of if guys like TE and DD will be able to knock down the open looks they get off of the kick outs

Posted in ticket exchange also, but I’m in town from NYC for the holidays and would love to go to the game. Looking for one ticket. Very willing to pay, if reasonable, of course. Thanks much and GO SHOX!

Isn’t this game in a couple hours? I’ve been away for a few days and it’s like coming back to a ghost town.

a game worth watching as osu has the #1 recruit in nation & probable #1 in nba draft. rest of osu team must not be to good though, osu only picked to finish 7th in 10 teams of big-12.

-As a fan I have zero expectation of winning this game although if a couple of the guys we’re getting back are legit? Who knows what could happen.
-I’m just excited to be able to watch some WSU bball.
-It feels like Christmas morning with the COVID five all available to play today. Can’t wait to see if they play (not necessarily a certainty I guess), how much they play, and what they look like.
-Sounds like Dexter will be the main guy checking Cunningham but I wonder who else will get a chance? Wade, Jackson, Bilaut, mystery guy?
-Let’s see what Craig Porter can bring to the table.
-The more I hear about Bilaut the more it seems like he sees himself as more of a guard than a post. Which is fine on offense, I think. But with his size, length, and athleticism I was hoping he could be a paint presence and screen hedging nightmare on defense. Maybe we’ll know more today.
-Isaac Brown said Seymour has been playing the 4 and 5. He may be skinny but he is lengthy and athletic. Monzy mentioned his shot blocking ability on the Drive. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him hammer in an alley oop today.
-I’ve largely graded this team on a curve so far considering all the circumstances. The one thing that has been truly disappointing is our transition defense. If that doesn’t improve we truly are in for a long year. I’m optimistic it will improve because...it can’t get much worse and I know the coaching staff recognizes it’s an issue.
-Trey Wade has been the second most disappointing thing about the young season. To the point that I would replace him with Monzy in the starting lineup. He’s not making shots and his defense hasn’t been good. He’s just not bringing much to the table. Hopefully he can get going in the right direction today.
-I like almost everything about Gilbert so far. I would like to see him give a little more focus and effort off the ball defensively, boxing out, and getting back on defense after a missed shot.

True, I would have zero reason to watch this game if not for Cunningham.

Higgy's doing the game....looks great. Hair in place, guns out. It's a good sign.

I’m worried about Higgy’s hair. He has lost a bit. I mean so have I but that’s his signature.

Ah. Some semblance of balance in 2020

The line is OSU -3.5. I'd be more than pleasantly surprised if it's near that.

There is so much room left in that area to get more people and space them out...
